The FedEx Playoffs process is scheduled to begin in just a few hours. All the PGA Tour pros are geared up to give their best in the final three weeks of the season, to grab not just the trophy but also the Player of the Year title. The playoffs have three tournaments, and the first one is the St. Jude Championship, which will have its first round on August 15.
Scottie Scheffler will enter the event with the lead in the 70-player field. Top players like Xander Schauffele, Rory McIlroy, and others will be a part of the field, trying to make it to the Top 50 for the BMW Championship.
Justin Rose and Ben Griffin will open the field on Thursday
The first round of the PGA Tour’s first playoff is at the TPC Southwind in Memphis, Tennessee, and will begin at 8:20 a.m. EDT. Justin Rose and Ben Griffin will be opening the field, and the final pairing is scheduled for 2:15 pm EDT, where Emiliano Grillo and Victor Perez will be teeing off together.
