Sentry Tournament is old news now since the 2022 Sony Open in Hawaii found their new champion for the year. Although it is over, it left us with some aesthetic memories to understand the beauty of the Waialae golf course of Hawaii.

After a fierce battle in the playoff, Japan’s Hideki Matsuyama became the 2022 Sony Open Champion; Russell Henley faced Hideki in the playoffs. The Championship win made the Japanese golfer’s eighth win at the PGA Tour. He also is now tied to K. J. Choi for most TOUR wins by an Asian-born player.
After becoming the first Japanese player to win at the Sony Open in 39 years, Hideki Matsuyama sure would never forget his time at the event. However, not many can forget what they experience at the Open because of the beauty of the location.
