After a blockbuster weekend at the Sentry 2024, the PGA Tour is all set to host its first full-field event of the year in Hawaii. The Sony Open is set to be played from January 11 to January 14, and the playing field for this event is filled with golf world heartthrobs.

As the date of the initiation of the Sony Open draws closer, the fans are intrigued to know how they can be a part of this event at the Wai’alae Country Club in Hawaii. Let’s find out how you can buy a ticket and be a part of this promising event at the start of the 2024 season.

What are the different types of tickets you can buy for the Sony Open Hawaii?

Thankfully for all the fans waiting to buy the tickets and start their 2024 season with their golf favorites, the PGA Tour has released details regarding the procedure to buy the tickets, along with their prices. There are different options that the audience can select from, which will all cater to their respective viewing experience needs.

To start with, the daily tickets are available for a price of $40 for one person. These tickets will be valid only for one day, and if the audience wants to watch the event on another date of the tournament, they’ll have to procure another ticket for the same. Alternatively, the audience can also choose a season badge.

A season badge is available for entry throughout the tournament. On the website of the Sony Open Hawaii, the validity of these badges is set to start on January 10 and extend up to January 14. These are priced at $100 for one person.

Another way to watch this event is by buying a Sweet 16 Chalet hospitality pass. It provides a luxury viewing experience to the pass holders by giving them access to the Sweet 16 Chalet for the day with cuisine by G. Lion Hawaii, soft drinks, and two glasses of wine or beer. This will also include tournament admission.

These passes are priced at $265 per day for the first two days and $290 per day for the third and fourth days. But is there some way that some of the fans can get tournament admission for free? Well, our answer to this would be yes and no.

Who can watch the event for free?

While mostly everyone will have to pay to watch the event. There is an exemption for military members. This includes both active-duty and retired military service members, reserves, and dependents who present a valid military ID. This provision is also extended to military veterans, who will have to request the tickets online through the Veteran Tickets Foundation.

Additionally, any child aged 15 or below can also watch the event with a ticketed adult. These are some of the exemptions to the general strict ticket rule. It will be the ticket holders’ responsibility to safeguard their tickets; no refunds or exchanges will be provided. There is no re-entry provision or raincheck privileges as well. All in all, with everything in mind, the upcoming event has definitely got the golf world excited.
