Golf fanatics Kipp and Ryan Warner were visibly nervous when they went to play golf in front of a camera. The couple reached the Marsh Landing Country Club in Ponte Vedra, Florida, after being selected by WHOOP, the popular fitness brand, to wear bands to monitor their health. But the married couple were in for a shock as the Korda sisters waited for them on the 16th tee.
With excitement flying all around, both pairs met each other as the Warners turned the cart onto the tee box on the sixteenth hole. The amateur duo immediately turned a whole lot more nervous as they decided to play together with the siblings. “My heart rate probably skyrocketed, my hands were shaking,” recounted Kipp at the thought of teeing off in front of the professional golfers.
But nevertheless, it was a dream come true moment for them, as watching the sisters in their element helped them learn so much more about the game. The husband even compared the moment to when the Solheim Cup-bound Korda sister met the legend, Tiger Woods. Moreover, the married couple took to the course with the sisters “teetering on heart attack”, as put by Mrs. Warner, expressing their excitement for the same.
Both Nelly and Jessica Korda were also of immense help to the amateur golfers as they taught them about the game and how to read the greens, look at the speed, aim, and putt. And what started off as a nervous moment ended in a light-hearted tone as the two teams “had a really good time”.
