For athletes, it is not a rare thing to love more than one sport. Having an interest in other sports besides their own is extremely common among players which is why many basketball champions love golf. Numerous golfers love soccer and so on. And for Sergio Garcia his adoration for Lionel Messi is immense. Just like the rest of the world, he adores Messi and his performance on the soccer field.
In fact, to openly express his love for the soccer star, Garcia bought soccer T-shirts for his four-member team, inspired by his love for Messi. The Spaniard even had Messi’s number 10 printed on his t-shirt. His family even helped him in preparing the outfit and the fans loved this gesture. But with the news that is surfacing about Messi’s move toward LIV Golf could be a bummer for Sergio, despite being a happy one.
As per the official page of LIV Golf Insider, Messi is in the final stage of talking about buying LIV’s team Torque GC. They reported, “World Renowned Soccer Mega-Star Lionel #Messi is in late-stage talks to purchase the South American #LIVGolf franchise #TorqueGC. An avid #LIVGolf fan, Messi says he plans to bring South American golf to the forefront of the sport.”
