The major championships are prestigious tournaments across the realm of golf. Getting an opportunity to play in one of them if a player doesn’t have an exemption or fails to qualify is an uncommon occurrence. The Canadian golfer Adam Hadwin came eye-to-eye with a similar stance at the 2023 Open Championship. Even though his OWGR position (57th) could have provided him with an entry, given any withdrawals, it did not transpire.

That left the golfer to miss out on the 156-player field at Hoylake after his 59 and T40 finishes at the US Open and the PGA Championship this year, respectively. However, this situation also presented a silver lining. According to the latest update shared by Mrs.Hadwin, it appears that a member of the Hadwin clan really needed all the support it could get. The PGA Tour pro’s presence at home might have proved to be of great help. The result of the clip speaks for itself, as Jessica Hadwin sighs in relief!
