Rickie Fowler has managed to live a productive career as a consistent golfer. His invariable strive helped him take the 4th berth in the world rankings in 2016. However, the veteran faced a nightmare when he entered the Fortinet Championship 2022 ranked World 185. Even though the dip out of the top 50 continued in 2021 and 2022, the 34-year-old steadily sailed toward that mark in 2023.
His resilient drive to seat 53 in OWGR was witnessed at the Zozo Championship 2022, and the RBC Heritage 2023. After the 71-68-68-69 shot at the 2023 Wells Fargo Championship, Fowler fans received a piece of big news on Twitter.

Has the 29 months wait ended for Rickie Fowler?
The last time Rickie was among the World’s Top 50 was back in December 2020 at No. 49. Since then, he has mostly toiled to reach that professional place again. His efforts also included switching his trainer to Butch Harmon and adopting a new regime.
In light of the recent game at North Carolina, the stylish star might finally take back his pre-2020 Masters professional high. As reported by Nosferatu it was a ‘very long and painful wait‘ of 2 years and 5 months.
