Jon Rahm joined LIV Golf in December 2023, and two months after joining, the off-season will give his team a massive reveal. The team name was rumored to be “Legion XIII,” though nothing has been confirmed by the Spaniard or LIV Golf. However, before the 2024 season officially starts, it seems Rahm’s team will be getting an introduction to the world in an iconic manner.

LIV Golf unveiled the announcement of the team, but it was cut short as the fans continued with their massive digs at the league and Rahm. The official page of LIV Golf posted a cover photo of Rahm. It depicts the Spaniard as an aggressive golfer and portrays a leadership vibe off of it. The post also mentions the date January 30, 2024, in Roman numerals.

The Spaniard will be heading his team to El Cardonal in Mayakoba, Mexico. Although only two players have been publicly confirmed on the four-time major winner’s team, one is himself. The second player rumored to join Rahm’s team is his 2023 Ryder Cup compatriot, Tyrrell Hatton.

Hatton is reported to have joined LIV Golf for a $60 million deal. The PIF-backed league will make its announcement somewhere around this week. The league’s post sparked a massive reaction from the golf world. While Hunter Mahan took a hilarious jibe, the fans were nothing short of their huge digs at Rahm and the league. Though a few liked the campaign, many were busy criticizing it.

One user took a dig at the marketing team and LIV Golf and said that even after spending billions of dollars, the league’s marketing campaign is still not able to go strong, just like the events!

Another commented sarcastically, saying that they were excited to not spend a single second of their time watching LIV Golf or Rahm’s team.

One user was creeped out by the black and white Rahm’s image and asked a fair question, “Why is this so creepy?

Another fan exclaimed that doesn’t matter how much the marketing campaigns are investing the time in promoting LIV Golf, because of the unique format, it will become irrelevant.

One fan described the picture as if Rahm is looking down at something and that is LIV Golf aka for this “golf dustbin.”

This fan declared that no one cares about the LIV Golf and Rahm’s team because even after having great players, the events of the league are a laughing matter.
