This weekend the PGA Tour is hosting its latest tournament, the 3M Open in TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota. Yesterday was the third round which saw Lee Hodges take the lead on the leaderboard. He is rocking the charts with a 5-under 66 on Saturday and following him in the second position is two-time PGA Tour winner JT Poston who maintained consistency in the first and second rounds by shooting 66 on both days.
And in the third position is last year’s defending champion Tony Finau who is fighting hard to maintain his footing after his last week’s disqualification from the Open Championship. However, the round like every other is too long and requires lots of patience. Especially for a cute little audience member who found the event to be too boring and nodded off. The PGA Tour shared a clip on their Twitter account of a little baby sleeping soundly during the round while his father rocked him in his arms.

The baby is wearing a hat for protection from the sun but couldn’t escape the boredom caused by the long round. And fans fully agree. Even the PGA Tour agreed on the length of the sport as they wrote in the caption: “Golf. It’s not for everyone.“

Nevertheless, the event continues. While Tony Finau is showing good chances of winning, the tournament turned out to be a bust for Justin Thomas who failed to make the cut again this week after a poor performance last week at the Open Championship. The 3M Open concludes this Sunday with its final round.
