Tiger Woods near-death accident in 2021 has prevented him from participating in any events in the 2023 season except the Masters. However, Woods is not completely off of the PGA Tour event.

Tiger Woods’ extended absence from the PGA Tour was noticed by all golf fans. The break he took in April to recover from a plantar fasciitis surgery has now kept him from playing professionally for some time. However, Woods can be seen moving and hitting the ball often despite the struggle he faces to walk or even stand still.

Although you will not see him playing anytime soon, his business endeavors keep him connected to the golf world. Earlier this year, the PGA Tour terminated the contract with Mayakoba over their involvement with LIV Golf. Soon after, the news of Diamante hosting the $8.2 million World Wide Technology Championship was made public.

Woods has designed two courses for Diamante, El Cardonal, and The Oasis; a 12-hole short course. Additionally, the Diamante Resort exhibits a shop for Tiger Woods’ various merchandise in collaboration with Nike. From t-shirts and shoes to Nike clubs, it’s a treat for golf fans. With a subtle tribute, Woods once again proved his dedication to the Tour.

TGR Design has over 13 different courses in the Americas. His team consists of his old friends Bryon Bell and Beau Welling, who have worked with veteran golf course architect Tom Fazio.
