After winning two renowned tournaments on the PGA Tour this year, Max Homa is now taking a little break from golf. The player won the Wells Fargo Championship in May, and later defended his title for the Fortinet Championship in September. The 31-year-old also made it to the headlines with his spectacular performance during the Presidents Cup and played a huge role in the win.

However, he recently took to Twitter and announced that he is going to take some time off the field. Homa said that he was going to miss golf and addressed himself as a tired golfer. Although there is no official news about why the golfer has decided to step away from the field, there are some clear guesses. And one of the most believable reasons for his decision is that Homa and his wife are expecting their first child in November. And like any good father, Homa would want to be there with his wife to experience the initial days with his newborn.
Dear Golf,
We’re going to be taking a break for a little bit. It’s not that I don’t love u, but it’s been a long year and I want to miss u again. Thank u for understanding. Plz beat up on some others while I’m gone. I don’t want u to get rusty
Sincerely,
A Tired Golfer— max homa (@maxhoma23) October 23, 2022
