Rory McIlroy is a pro golfer from Northern Ireland and plays in both European as well as PGA Tours. The 33-year-old golfer is also a former World No. 1 and spent more than 100 weeks holding that position.
Besides his game on the course, McIlroy has also been on everyone’s mind because of his witty yet bold shots at the LIV Golf Invitational Series. Not just the series, but the golfer has been making diplomatic statements about the players who joined the Saudi-backed league as well.

McIlroy recently won his 21st PGA Tournament and called it a day to remember for a long time. Seemed like the golfer had some hidden motivation to secure this win, which in his case worked well. As McIlroy shot a 62 at 19-under and finished the tournament in style, he couldn’t help but point out who he had left behind on the PGA-Tour leaderboard by securing that win.
Post-game interview of Rory McIlroy
The golfer said in a post-game interview, “Playing with Tony and JT, and all of us playing the way we did, I think the worst round was 6 under, this is a day I will always remember. My 21st PGA Tour win, one more than somebody else, that gave me a little extra incentive today and I’m happy to get it done.”

It was not hard to understand that McIlroy was talking about the CEO of the ongoing LIV Golf Series, who himself has a record of 20 wins on the PGA Tour. It is also not surprising to see McIlroy making that statement as a lot has been going on between the two.

"21 wins… one more win than someone else"
…only 24 more wins to catch up with @PhilMickelson who had 45 #PGATour wins during 🐐 Tiger Woods' prime (since you're highlighting win comparisons)
