On January 29th, 2024, Elon Musk, the owner of Neuralink—the neurotechnology company—shared an update regarding their transhuman chip on his X profile. He updated that the first chip had been inserted into a human and they were recovering well. The chip was implanted in a human’s brain to assist with their daily tasks.

The 27-year-old shared an Instagram story regarding the same matter. The story consisted of a post that spoke about how the chip would enable communication without talking or listening to “music simply by thinking of a song title.”

The new technology clearly did not sit well with the two-time LPGA Tour winner, as she first put forth a rhetorical statement on her story and wrote, “Like what is the need for this” and continued to show her dissent towards the technology and added, “actually sick of technology now.”

She said, “Swear I would of loved to of loved [live] in the times without phones and internet and just enjoy life the propper way.” Hull went on to call it “Silly t***s”. As per reports, the chip will also help in treating mental health issues, a topic that the LPGA Pro has not been a stranger to and has openly discussed.
