37-year-old Stacy Lewis has won 13 LPGA Tour events, including 2 majors since she joined the Tour in 2009. The Tour has rewarded her with many awards and accolades for her contributions to the golf community. Rolex and GWAA had named her the Player of the Year twice in 2012 and 2014.
“She is my role model,” said Spiranac about Stacy Lewis. “If I get out on tour, I want to try to emulate what she does because she’s amazing and one of the best players in the world.”

Spiranac has nothing but praise for her role model. However, while Lewis was her inspiration in golf for the then-pro golfer, Paige had a different role model outside her favorite sport.

“Ronda Rousey. She’s a badass.” Spiranac said about her role model in the interview. “I want to be her,” she added.
Ronda Rousey is the first-ever female wrestler to sign with the UFC. Soon after she joined them, Rousey won the first-ever UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion title.

Spiranac believes that Rousey has been the perfect example of women’s empowerment. She further added, “She can beat a guy up and then look killer in a dress and heels.”

Evidently, the female golfer was a die-hard fan of the female wrestler. According to Spiranac, there was nothing that Rousey couldn’t do as she said, “She can do everything. Anything.”
Since she was a professional golfer at the time, Spiranac admired the LPGA player Stacy Lewis for her contributions on the Tour. However, outside the sport, she looked up to the wrestling legend, Ronda Rousey, for empowering women.
