Jessica Korda is probably one of the most famous players currently in the Golf world. Her sister, Nelly Korda, also is one of the highest-ranking women golfers. The sisters are each other’s top supporters, Jessica once went all in to support Nelly.

Korda is famous for representing the Czech Republic in the World Amateur Team Championship Espirito Santo Trophy in 2006 and representing the United States in 2010. She finished tied for 4th individually and won a silver medal with her team.

The Korda sisters are the golf world’s power duo. The siblings have a heartwarming relationship and are always there for one another. They often show on each other’s games to demonstrate their support.

Nelly Korda shot a found-under 68 in one of her matches to win by two, and Jessica Korda, her sister, was watching and cheering in the middle of the night in the States through FaceTime.

Nelly was touched by this sweet gesture of her sister. Both the sisters hooked on FaceTime to chat about the game right after. The duo’s bond is rather heartwarming to see.
Nelly said, “Walking off the 18th, my sister was on FaceTime and I just lost it. I definitely had a couple of tears going down my face. She was saying how proud of me she is, and you know, she was crying probably more than me today. But it’s a bond, like that you just can’t even think of. She’s definitely my best friend. She’s been there every step of the way. She knows exactly what I’ve gone through this year.”
Jessica Korda saddened fans with her announcement
Korda was dealing with a severe back injury. In an announcement, she claimed that her doctors have suggested rest in order to prevent further physical harm. Due to the severe back injury, Korda was not able to play that season.
However, this wasn’t Korda’s first time being physically limited because of an injury. When this season began, a rib sprain caused her to withdraw from February’s Drive On Championship.

Korda, although, reassured her comeback next season. She said, “I’m beyond bummed. I haven’t had the most luck when it comes to injuries in my career, nonetheless, I’m going to keep on keeping on. Excited to be back next year for my 13th season on tour healthier and stronger.”
Fans on social media expressed extreme sadness on the exit of Korda from the last two LPGA events. However, the star golfer promised fans updates from time to time. She also said that she would come back next season stronger and healthier.
