LIV Golf may attract a lot of scrutiny and controversy, but the players who partake in the circuit are nothing but happy. The current LIV Golf Valderrama has already garnered a lot of attention. Sergio Garcia who is playing in his home country at one of his favorite golf courses couldn’t be happier.
The FireballsGC captained by the Spaniard seems to be in great spirits this season. El Nino, as Garcia is commonly called around the circuit, is so excited that he has planned a fun giveaway for his fans.

Sergio Garcia shares the news about his giveaways
For weeks now, there has been a dark cloud around LIV Golf, ever since the $3 Billion merger. But those clouds seem to only hover over non-LIV Golf Leagues. For those who signed contracts with the Saudi-based circuit, it is sunshine all the time, metaphorically of course.
Sergio Garcia is one of the happiest defectors who left the PGA Tour for the glory of LIV Golf. El Nino has been quite satisfied with his stance so far and is not afraid to voice it. He stood by CEO Greg Norman’s statement about LIV Golf’s future, and he has since shared his reasons for joining the PIF-Funded events.

Wishing to share his anticipation and good fortune with his fans, the Pro golfer sent out a tweet to share the news of a special giveaway with his fans. “Giveaway coming to those attending @livgolf_league Valderrama!” he wrote.

Garcia uses TaylorMade 2021 TP5 golf balls that are available on the Dicks Sporting Goods website. A box priced at $49.99, with 12 balls per pack, it may not seem like the LIV Golfer is losing a lot of money with approximately $4 a pop. However, being signed by the celebrity golfer and a special present from him to his fans makes them priceless.
No doubt, these signed golf balls will be valued at much higher than $4 by collectors. Not to mention, the simple experience of receiving them from an adorned sports personality is something his admirers cannot miss.
Sergio Garcia looks forward to winning $4 Million
Money seems to be no concern for LIV Golfers, what with their passion for the game and the very-large purses of the Saudi-backed tournaments. With $20 million in the player tournament up for grabs, the winner on Sunday at Club de Golf Valderrama is expected to bag a massive amount of $4 million. That’s 20% of the total sum. But then again, with fewer players and a PIF available, it is no big deal for LIV Golf organizers.

The captain of the Fireball GC is playing exceptionally well on the greens at Valderrama. Why wouldn’t he when it is one of his favorite golf courses in Spain?! Being in his home country has raised the stakes for El Nino, not to mention, he knows the course well. With the hype around LIV Golf’s partnership with Andalucia that houses 100 golf courses including Club de Golf Valderrama, fans are also excited to see who will take home the $4 million prize money.
Captain Garcia seems super confident and grateful to his fans for their support.
