Sepp Straka made history quite early in his career. In 2018, Straka became the first Austrian golfer to earn a PGA tour card. Although his maiden victory took four years in coming, Straka reached another milestone by becoming the first Austrian to win in the PGA Tour. A Ryder Cup call was in the offing, and the Viennese stepped up bravely when he was indeed called up.

The two-time PGA Tour winner is currently teeing up at the Hero World Challenge, an invite-only event from no less than Tiger Woods himself. As he strives to leave his mark on the Albany Golf Club, let’s take a peek inside his golf bag. Reportedly, the 30-year-old has signed a sponsorship deal with Srixon, but his bag features a slew of other clubs.

TaylorMade Stealth 2 Plus driver remains at the top of his bag. But, long tee shots are not his forte, as he himself admitted to a chat with Golf Digest while showcasing his bag. The two-time PGA Tour winner’s driving average of 299.5 Yards (the Tour average is 299.9) pushes him out to the top 100 in the PGA Tour.

However, his driving accuracy of 64.49% lifts him much higher at the 33rd place on the Tour. The Austrian uses two Stealth 2 drivers with a 9-degree loft and a Mitsubishi Kai’li White T 60X shaft. Stealth 2 comes at a price of $499.98 at the PGA Tour Superstore. For fairway woods, Straka picks TaylorMade Stealth 2 Plus with 15-degree and 21-degree lofts. The 7-iron is worth $399.98.

The University of Georgia alum prefers forged blade irons over cast irons. This is why he picks the Srixon ZX7 Mk II that meets his needs of 4-iron through 9-iron. He uses a true temper Dynamic Gold X100 shafts with Gold Pride Tour velvet grips.

The 2023 John Deere Classic winner is placed at the 23rd position in Approach to the Greens and 42nd in Proximity to the Hole. The MK II comes at a price of $1,199.99. Interestingly, it’s also the same forged iron that garners Brooks Koepka’s arsenal

What about Wedges and Putters?

Straka is one of those golfers who prefer to keep an extra wedge rather than stuffing their bags with irons. At this moment, the 2022 Honda Classic winner has four wedges in his golf arsenal – all Cleveland RTX Zipcore with 46°, 52°, 56°, and 60° lofts. If you want to use the same wedge as the Austrian, you need to shell out $169.99.
