Sepp Straka has been in great form lately! His performance at the 2025 American Express has been the highlight so far. He has dominated the greens at the PGA WEST Pete Dye Stadium Course. After 3 rounds of play, Straka had finished at the top of the table with a score of 23-under par 193. The closest golfer to him had played 4 strokes more after 54 holes. Thanks to that, Straka has received a lot of attention and support from the golf community.

But how is he performing so well on one of the most challenging courses in the PGA Tour? His golf bag might give us a clue about that. Let’s see which clubs Sepp Straka relies on to help him reach the top.

It seems that Sepp Straka believes that Callaway offers the best clubs that suit his style of strokeplay. It seems to be working for him considering his performance at the American Express so far.

According to Bunkered, Straka uses the Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Triple Diamond Max driver off the tee. The $599.99 club is perfect for anyone who seeks control and forgiveness with every stroke. The club is paired with a Fujikura Ventus Blue (2024) 6 X shaft that can be purchased for $350, bringing the total of his driver to $949.99.

Straka goes back to the Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Triple Diamond when he is looking for a 3-wood. Paired with a Mitsubishi Tensei 1K Red shaft, the iron helps the PGA Tour Pro with faster swing, low spin, and easy air penetration. The 3-wood comes at about $349.99 on the Callaway website while the shaft is worth $500.

He also carries a Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Triple Diamond 7-wood in his bag. Sticking to the same series of clubs, the wood also offers the same qualities like faster swing, less spin, and air penetration. The price of both woods is also the same at $349.99 with a Mitsubishi Tensei 1K Orange shaft worth $500.

The last piece in his fairway clubs is the Srixon ZX7 MkII (4-9 irons) with a True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100. Looking for a bit of variety in his kit, the Srixon ZX7 MkII has a more compact shape and is perfect for precision short-range strokes when approaching the green. The shaft is the same one that Charlie Woods also used at the 2024 PNC Championship for his iron. The club is priced at about $889.99 per piece, bringing the total to about $5,339.94 for the set. The iron shaft is worth $299.99.

Cleveland and Odyssey are preferred by Straka

While Sepp Straka’s drivers and irons may be filled with Callaway clubs, that is not the case for his wedge and putter. When Straka is looking to get out of tight positions, he uses the Cleveland RTX6 ZipCore Tour Rack. He carries 4 variants of the wedge; 46°, 52°, 56°, and 60°. This allows him to navigate a variety of bunkers and roughs with the appropriately angled wedge. Each piece of the Cleveland RTX6 ZipCore Tour Rack comes at a price of $129.99.

Lastly, when Straka is looking to sink the ball, his caddie hands him the Odyssey Tuttle Stroke Lab. The perfectly distributed weight of the putter ensures that the pro golfer has complete control over every shot and the ball rolls exactly where he wishes to hit it. The Odyssey Tuttle Stroke Lab is worth $249.99 online.
