‘Selling His Soul’: Furious Fans Thrashes Anthony Kim as His Confession on LIV Golf Move Hits Internet

During Anthony Kim‘s 12-year absence from the greens, numerous changes occurred on the golf course. Following the resolution of questions surrounding his return, a new sense of uncertainty emerged among the fans. When the American departed from the course, he was competing on the PGA Tour.

However, upon his much-anticipated return, his move to Greg Norman‘s LIV golf prompted numerous questions among fans. In response to those queries, Kim expressed his feelings about his decision to “Flushing it” on X (formerly Twitter) “I don’t know all of what’s going on between the PGA TOUR and LIV.”

Addressing his unawareness of the rivalry, the pro golfer noted, “I know that after talking to Greg, Jed, Richard, and a few people that I value their opinion,” As he mentioned these perspectives from the mentioned entities, Kim proceeded with his remarks: “They thought it was best for me to go to LIV, and that’s the best decision I made.”  

Even though Kim’s “goals for this season and moving forward are to work as hard as I can, and be focused which I don’t think that I ever have been.” a segment of fans remained unconvinced and began to voice their disapproval of the golfer on social media.

The post from ‘Flushing It’ divulged all about Kim’s decision, but the comments section didn’t indicate that fans were prepared to accept the explanation offered by the American golfer.

One fan expressed disappointment and hinted that they were hesitant to accept the narrative put forth by the 39-year-old. They further emphasized that the PGA Tour would have welcomed his return regardless, but instead, Kim opted for money over that opportunity.

Another enthusiast sarcastically remarked on Kim’s decision, implying that it was influenced by the financial incentives offered by LIV Golf, and the American golfer leaned towards that option.

One fan outright rejected the factors Kim mentioned about his “seven surgeries,” attributing it all to the financial offer from LIV Golf. They contend that the PGA Tour would have also taken his circumstances into account.
