Previously, Jordan Spieth was the only golfer from Texas who ranked World No.1 for a while. Notably, there is no other school with two golfers from the United States ranking No. 1. Hence, this is an incredibly proud moment for the Texas Longhorns to cherish.
Tiger Woods, who was 683 weeks at the top of the OWGR rankings, is the only golfer from Stanford.
