Fans of traditional golf are still grumbling about the video game-like aspects of TGL, the new team golf league backed by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy. The latest announcement that Samsung is joining the party as an Official Screen Partner has only added fuel to the fire. While TGL is thrilled to have Samsung on board, bringing its cutting-edge technology to the table, some fans are skeptical about the whole thing.

TGL’s custom-built SoFi Center will feature Samsung’s commercial-grade LED displays, creating a visually stunning experience for fans attending matches. But some fans are worried that all the bells and whistles will distract from the actual game of golf.  “I’ll pass. I would much rather watch real golf”, another fan complained. While many fans were busy pointing out the obvious one fan dropped a bombshell, “If LIV did this and the TGL never existed you would mock it. We all know this”, while another fan took a dig at Rick Golfs on X for promoting the new update, “Says the same dude that trashes LIV”. Now what do you think? Is this a yes or no in your opinion?
