The tenacious professional clinched his first victory on the PGA Tour at the championship thereby breaking his long run without a win. The 25-year-old became one of the six people who picked up their first win at the Fortinet and this was possible due to his exemplary choice of tools that accompanied him on the course.

Theegala is a big fan of Ping. He uses a G430 LST 10.5 Degree Driver priced at $314.30. Coupled with a Project X HZRDUS Black 60 TX shaft, the club provides a pleasing impact experience helping accelerate ball speed while reducing spin. Moreover, its newly optimized face featuring Spinsistency adds to the experience.

His choice of 5-wood falls on the Ping G430 Max 18 Degrees Fairway. Attached to a Graphite Design Tour AD DI 8 TX shaft, the equipment is priced at around $505. A perfect choice for long approach shots, the club has been introduced with Carbonfly Wrap technology to deliver more distance through the introduction of CG closer to the force line enabling an increase in ball speed which feeds into a higher and longer carry.

The American golfer turns to the Ping i210, costing $950.84, for his 3-iron. The club is coupled with a Graphite Design Tour AD DI Hybrid 85 X shaft personalized to the professional’s play. The larger and softer elastomer insert in the head pushes the feel while making the shot while the machined face and grooves help score precisely over the distance. For Pitching Wedges, he uses the Ping Blueprint S with the Project X 6.5 shaft priced at $2,449.99.

Theegala’s wedges and putters

The 1X PGA Tour champ depends on the Ping Glide 4.0 attached to the Project X 6.5 for his 50 and the True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400 shaft for his 54 when it comes to wedges. Moreover, he uses Ping Glide 2.0 with the latter choice of shaft for the 58. Its carbon steel body and elastomer CTP insert put it at a price of $150.
