Ranking 11th in the Official World Golf Rankings, Theegala’s upward trajectory shows no signs of slowing. A key factor in his success is the carefully curated selection of clubs in his bag, starting with the Ping G430 LST Driver. This trusty driver, set to 10.5 degrees loft, is paired with a Project X HZRDUS Black 60 TX shaft, a combination that unlocks exceptional clubhead speed. Priced at $579.99, this driver boasts a 440-cc LST design that boosts ball speed while minimizing spin.

In a bold move, Theegala let go of his putter of nine years, opting for a fresh choice at the 2024 3M Open. He traded his Ping Karsten TR 1966 Anser 2 prototype for a Ping PLD Tyne S, seeking a spark from the change. With only minimal practice, the gamble paid off as he drained a 23-foot birdie putt on the opening hole. Moreover, he uses Titleist Pro V1 balls and Golf Pride Tour Velvet to hold those clubs.

However, as per PGA Tour media, his love affair with the new putter may be short-lived. “The gamer will be back probably for Playoffs.” He said. What are your thoughts on his Ping bag choice? Share them with us in the comments section below.
