It has been years since Paige Spiranac hung up her professional golf career. Since then, she’s turned into a full-time content creator. However, none of that means that she’s left golf behind. While her main content revolves around golf culture, her experiences, and engaging with her audience, Spiranac also makes golf predictions occasionally. And that’s exactly what she did a few days ago.

A week ago, the Golf Mommy shared her predictions on the captain’s picks for the Ryder Cup. She has a list of six names that Captain Zach Johnson would choose to add to the US team. Interestingly, she strongly backed up one pick, and she claimed that one certain PGA Tour pro would not make the list. With the final team for the Ryder Cup now announced, it seems like the social media star has yet again proven no one knows golf like her.

In her podcast, ‘Playing a Round with Paige, Spiranac and her co-host were comparing their picks for the final six to enter the Ryder Cup team. These were the players that Spiranac claimed would be picked by Johnson. The names are Brooks Koepka, Jordan Spieth, Cameron Young, Rickie Fowler, Dustin Johnson, and Keegan Bradley.

As for Koepka, Spiranac said these exact words. “If he [Zach Johnson] doesn’t pick Brooks Koepka, he’s an idiot because he has experience and he plays really well under tense circumstances.” Speaking of Spieth, she commended his experience and his rapport with the team.

Moving onto her predictions that went wrong, she said, “Bradley would mix really well with a ton of different players, has a very diverse game, and he just wants it so badly.” Moreover, she sounded positive about how Brian Harman’s consistency and wedging skills, combined with how Cameron Young would bomb it off the tee, could make for a great combination.

Spiranac also strongly felt that Collin Morikawa wouldn’t make it onto the team. She claimed that his putting was not on point, and he could not instill confidence in her in dire situations. However, she was proved wrong. And yet, in the face of defeat too, the model was nothing but class.

Despite getting a few picks wrong, Spiranac expresses her excitement

After the final team list came out, the blonde beauty posted a video wishing her best for the team. She listed the final six: Brooks Koepka, Jordan Spieth, Collin Morikawa, Rickie Fowler, Sam Burns, and Justin Thomas, and opened up about how excited she was for them to play in Rome in September.

She also spoke about how Justin Thomas’ entry into the team has surprised many. But, as per her, it was a no-brainer! Spiranac concluded by congratulating the players for making it to the Ryder Cup and expressing her confidence in the team and its captain.
