Born on January 22, 1987, in Auckland, New Zealand, Ryan Fox comes from a family of sports legends. His father, Grant Fox, was an iconic All Blacks fly-half, renowned for his pivotal role in New Zealand’s 1987 Rugby World Cup victory. Naturally, you’d think he’d follow in his father’s footsteps, right? Well, Fox had other plans. Instead of following in his father’s rugby footsteps, he chose golf.

How much has Ryan Fox earned so far?

Turning professional in 2012, Fox started his career on the PGA Tour of Australasia, and while his early years didn’t bring immediate breakthrough on the PGA Tour, he gradually built a name for himself in various circuits. From there, his career took off, leading to wins across the European Tour, Challenge Tour, and PGA Tour of Australasia.

One of his biggest moments came in 2023, when he won the BMW PGA Championship, earning a massive $1.53 million in prize money. And that was just a part of his incredible run. Between 2021 and 2023, Fox raked in around $11 million, proving that consistency in golf can be just as rewarding as big-name status.

So, how much has Fox made in his career so far? As of 2025, his total net worth is estimated at $10 million, with a significant portion coming from the PGA Tour. His official career earnings stand at $3,351,051, including $283,915 earned in 2025 alone. In 2024, he added another $1,378,822 to his earnings, showing that he’s still going strong. Interestingly, previous reports from late 2023 indicated total career earnings from both official and unofficial tournaments were $1,992,722. The slight discrepancies in these figures could be due to different reporting methods or prize money classifications. That said, 2018 remains his most financially rewarding year to date, with earnings surpassing $1.7 million.

Despite these impressive earnings, Fox is still striving for a full-time PGA Tour exemption, which could elevate his status and financial opportunities even further. His strong finishes at major tournaments, including a T16 at The Open Championship in 2019 and a T23 at the PGA Championship in 2023, show he has what it takes to compete at the highest levels of golf. But that’s not it. His sponsorships are also a major part of his earnings

What adds up to Ryan Fox’s career earnings?

Beyond his tournament winnings, Fox has built a strong financial foundation through endorsement deals. He is sponsored by some of the biggest names in golf, including TaylorMade, FootJoy, and Srixon Golf. These sponsorships have significantly contributed to his $10 million net worth. Thanks to these endorsements, Fox enjoys the perks of a well-established pro—traveling the world, playing in elite tournaments, and securing a comfortable future for his family.

Speaking of family, Fox keeps things pretty low-key off the course. He’s happily married to Anneke Ryff, and the couple shares two daughters. They tied the knot in 2019 on Rakino Island in the Hauraki Gulf—a stunning location that seems fitting for a golfer who spends most of his time in picturesque outdoor settings.
