Paige Spiranac is known for her strong views and opinions. The internet sensation largely uses her social media handles, along with her podcast to put forward her thoughts in front of a massive fan following. A pro golfer herself, she opts to maintain her niche by restricting her views on sports, especially golf. An apt example of it took place in the year 2020.

Walking down memory lane, the year 2020 was clearly the year for Bryson DeChambeau. Having his shots in place, the now 29-year-old won his debut major title at the US Open. A feat, that took no time in making him the hot favorite for the Masters Tournament. However, not only did he end up with a disappointing result at the Masters, but also opened the doors for the opinions of Paige Spiranac.
Paige Spiranac accuses Bryson DeChambeau of being overconfident
Bryson Dechambeau won the US Open with an impressive score of -6. However, suffering a downfall, he finished his Augusta National Club campaign at T34, with a score of -2. That wasn’t all. Following the loss, he further headed to the press conference, mocking the prestigious golf course by calling the par a 67.

A couple of days later, Spiranac put out an episode of her self-produced podcast, ‘Playing a Round with Paige Renee’. In the podcast, she called out DeChmabeau for his performance, along with his mock. “Bryson gets a lot of s**t and kind of deservedly,” she said.

Going ahead in the conversation, she also pointed out DeChambeau’s attitude when approaching different things. “He comes in overly confident. It’s his attitude and the way he approaches things,” she further added.
Golf is a sport having one of the richest histories. However, over the past two decades, the sport has widely been represented by legends like Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy. The two together not only helped in uplifting the game but also helped Spiranac in proving her point. Quoting the attitude of the former World No. 1s, she went ahead in her podcast, further calling out DeChambeau.

“I think you can come off being confident – Tiger always comes off being confident, Rory comes off confided,” she said. “But he just comes off in a way that rubs people the wrong way and a lot of people root against Bryson, ” she further added.

This wasn’t the first time that Spiranac called out DeChmabeau. Walking further down the memory lane, in July 2020, she also called him out for his behavior towards a PGA official at a Memorial Tournament. Pumped with anger, the golf beauty questioned DeChambeau about who he thought he is.
