And the moment we’ve all been waiting for is finally here the high-tech indoor golf league co-founded by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy is set to be thrilling as the two golf legends face off for the first time on Monday night! Woods, who made his TGL debut on January 14, will lead his Jupiter Links Golf Club team, which includes Kevin Kisner and Tom Kim, against McIlroy’s Boston Common Golf team, featuring Adam Scott and Keegan Bradley. McIlroy is coming off a strong performance at the Dubai Desert Classic, where he tied for fourth place, while Woods is looking to build on his return to competition after back surgery. But what equipment is he using to take on McIlroy?
McIlroy’s golf game is looking stronger than ever, thanks to his trusty TaylorMade clubs. His driver of choice is the TaylorMade Qi10, which he uses with a Ventus Black 6X shaft and a 9° loft. This driver typically retails for around $599. He also wields a TaylorMade Qi10 3-wood with a Ventus TR Black 8X shaft and a 15° loft, priced at approximately $299. Rounding out his fairway woods is a TaylorMade Qi10 5-wood, featuring a Ventus TR Black 9X shaft and an 18° loft, which costs around $299.
McIlroy’s iron game is just as impressive, with a mix of TaylorMade P760 and Rors Proto irons. His 4-iron is a TaylorMade P760, equipped with a Project X7.0 shaft, and typically retails for around $175. The rest of his irons, from 5-9, are TaylorMade Rors Proto models, also featuring Project X 7.0 shafts.

These irons usually cost between $200-$300 each. Interestingly, McIlroy is suing TaylorMade, but that won’t stop him from using their clubs in his first TGL match but what else is the golfer carrying with him at the indoor golf venue?

Rory McIlroy’s wedge game is on point and all thanks go to his trusty TaylorMade MG4 wedges. The PGA Tour pro uses a 46°, 50°, and 54° wedge which are all equipped with Project X 6.5 shafts perfect for that amazing grip. These wedges typically retail for around $160-$200 each, with a set of three costing approximately $480-$600 but you know they are worth the money when Rory McIlroy himself is using them. That’s not all, he also has a Titleist Vokey Design WedgeWorks 58° wedge which also features a Project X 6.5 wedge shaft. This custom wedge can cost upwards of $250, making it a valuable addition to McIlroy’s arsenal.
When it comes to his putter, McIlroy relies on the TaylorMade Spider Tour X3 which typically retails for around $349. He pairs it with a TaylorMade TP5x 2024 ball, stamped with his initials “RORS” instead of a number. A dozen of these balls usually cost around $60. On his feet, you’ll find Nike shoes, which can range from $100 to $200, and he’s also dressed in Nike apparel, complete with a Nike glove, which usually costs around $20-$30.
