The PGA Tour, through its official Instagram account, posted the latest video of all the golfers reporting to the venue of the TPC Sawgrass and captioned it “Ready for @THEPLAYERS 🔥” The video begins with Rory McIlroy entering the premises of the venue carrying four huge bags in his hands, pretty much like the ones used for laundry.
The 24-time PGA Tour Pro even had two additional bags tied around his shoulders. As the camera zoomed into him, he smiled and said, “Laundry, lots of laundry.”Another PGA Tour pro’s arrival grabbed a lot of attention and it was none other than Justin Thomas. As the two-time major champion came out of his car, his adorable dog peeked from inside it, as he took out his luggage and walked towards the venue.
Followed by Kurt Kitayama, Xander Schauffele, and Justin Rose, who walked into the premises together as they met midway. All the golfers had a great meeting in front of the door before embarking on the grand tournament.

As THE PLAYERS Championship is just around the corner, Rory McIlroy’s followers cheered him up before D-Day as he was seen entering the den. They left comments like, “The weather is gorgeous, the course is gorgeous, LFGO!!!!!!” and “RORYYYYYYYYYY!!!!! Let’s go!!” motivating him. A lot of the people took to the massive amounts of bags that he had brought with him.
While one of them compared him to the character of Kevin McCalister in Home Alone, played by Macaulay Culkin, commenting, “Rory looks like Kevin McCalister from home alone coming back from the grocery store 🤣”, another hilariously comparing his entry to a visit to the laundromat, wrote, “Rory McIlroy, as seen coming from the laundromat”.

One of them even shared another funny remark, dropping the question, “Rory going camping?’ However, one thing that stood out was that all the golfers were seen carrying their luggage as they entered and that was humble of them. Taking to this, one of them even commented, “Multi millionaires carrying their laundry, bags, you name it. Dog in the front seat. Love it. Love these guys!” Even though there is fun banter going on in the social media posts, the air around them is filled with nervousness and competition. Now only time will tell which golfer will take home the $4.5 million winner’s cut from the whopping $25 million prize purse this year!
