Is there a Hooters in Orlando? That’s probably the first question John Daly asked after reaching the Ritz Carlton Golf Club. Fortunately, for him and his son, John Daly II, there was one, and the father-son duo didn’t take long to visit after the first-day job was done.

Team Daly is teeing off at the 2023 PNC Championship for the Willie Park Trophy, which they won in 2021, and came close to taking that red belt again last year. Nevertheless, John Daly and his son are sitting in sixth place with 11-under 61, and Daly thought, it was a decent enough result to call for some “chilling” at the Hooters.

Team Daly in the hood

John Daly posted a picture of himself sitting with his son flocked by six Hooters waitresses, captioning, “Just chilling”. The father-son duo appeared to be sipping Good Boy Vodka, a John Daly signature cocktail, Daly II, notably, was rocking an Arkansas Jumper.

John Daly is long known for his love of Hooters. The brand signed a NIL deal with his son last year. The veteran golfer, too, became the official spokesperson of the brand at the same time.

The Wild Thing has previously appeared at the Augusta to promote the local Hooters chain there. Daly posed with the waitresses and signed Augusta flags for fans. He even turned up on the stage to rock Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door.

We are not sure if he brought out his rockstar avatar this time as well. Nonetheless, fans were happy to see the 57-year-old golfer at the restaurant he loves. More because, this time, he took his son with him.

Wild reactions in the wake of a presumably wild outing

Undoubtedly, Hooters is also John Daly’s fan. Commenting on the post, the restaurant chain wrote, “Our favorites.” The brand lets the veteran golfer smoke his favorite cigar in their restaurant. Alluding to that, one user wrote, “Ripping darts. One user was quick to recall Daly’s appearance at a local Hooters chain in April. “I loved it when you showed up in Augusta at the Hooters there. You must really like their food.” Daly loves the brand’s ethos.

Tiger Woods at Hooters? Now, that’d be something; not that it would be the first time. Team Daly posed with Team Woods yesterday. One fan asked if the 15x Major winner was also there, “Where’s Tiger?

John Daly’s long white beard, protruding belly, guileless smile, and deep voice, make him a perfect candidate for Santa Claus. One user quipped, “Aren’t you supposed to be getting the reindeer ready Santa??”

Daly has inspired countless aspiring golfers for his bold choices on and off the course. “

My guy, modeled my life an(d) golf game after you, been working out so far, Cheers from Canada.” One user from Canada left a heartfelt tribute to the veteran golfer.

One can only imagine the celebration if Team Daly can bag the title this time. He might buy free beers for everyone in the Hooters once more.
