Rio Takeda’s golf paychecks
Finding so much success at such a young age comes with its benefits. Within 54 weeks, Rio Takeda has captured two LPGA Tour titles. According to her official LPGA Tour profile, she has banked nearly $469,372 through her on-course exploits. However, this is only the official money that he has earned after receiving her LPGA Tour card in 2025. Takeda has actually earned much more from her time in the LPGA Tour.
In 2024, everything the Japanese golfer earned was unofficial. Hence, her win at the 2024 TOTO Japan Classic is not included in the $469,372. The Japan event win got her another $300,000. Other than that, Takeda also has $271,733 from T9 finish in the U.S. Women’s Open, a $70,136 paycheck from T32 at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, and $23,234 in earnings from finishing at T55 in The Amundi Evian Championship last year. Takeda missed the cut in the AIG Women’s Open 2024, hence, she didn’t have any earnings from the major event.
In 2023, Rio Takeda finished at T8 in her first LPGA Tour event, the TOTO Japan Classic. That earned her a paycheck of $38,633. That means, before earning her LPGA Tour card, she had already made $703,736. After adding her official earnings of $469,372 to the mix, her total career earnings rise to $1.17 million.
These were all of Rio Takeda’s earnings in the LPGA Tour. She has also played in the Taiwan LPGA and Japan LPGA Tours. In the Japanese LPGA Tour, Takeda earned $1.8 million in 2024, becoming the highest-ranked player in terms of financial gains for the year. She also had the most wins in the season, accumulating 8 JLPGA titles throughout the year. In 2023, she was ranked 29th on the same table with earnings of $315,248. Major brand endorsement
Being a major star in the country, Rio Takeda may have attracted a lot of sponsorship deals in Japan. But the LPGA Tour star doesn’t seem to be someone who takes up the first endorsement opportunity she receives. She has been careful about the brands she associates with and has only picked the best of the best the world has to offer.
Takeda is signed with Fujifilm, one of the most recognized multinational conglomerates that manufactures photographic film, cameras, accessories, and equipment. They signed the LPGA Tour pro back when she had still not received her card. In fact, Takeda had also not won her first LPGA Tour event, the 2024 TOTO Japan Classic, when she signed with Fujifilm. The contract was signed towards the end of June, and the Japanese pro won the tournament in October.

Other than that, it seems that Rio Takeda is also signed with Srixon. She is often seen sporting the hat of the famous golf equipment brand. Her caddie is also seen carrying a Srixon golf bag around the course when she is playing in LPGA Tour events. She has also been seen wearing the DAZN-branded baseball helmets in the past. But there is no confirmation of the TV Network corporation endorsing her.
