Bryson DeChambeau was dubbed ‘the hottest golfer on the planet’ by a media person at LIV Golf Houston. The comment was made not just on his appearance but also addressing his form! Well, with the witty nature he has, he managed to make the entire room crack up with laughter with his one-liner response. “Is it the stache”, asked the LIV Golfer. Well, what followed was why he decided to grow it, and he revealed that someone said that it might look good on him.
In May, The Scientist donned formal attire that featured the basic white shirt and a pair of three-quarter cargos, along with knee-high socks. It was then paired with a beret. But what garnered everyone’s attention was the moustache he had going on at that time too. At that time, he did so for a YouTube video, looks like, once again after four months, Bryson DeChambeau is back with his ‘old school look’ on the course.
A few hours ago, Bryson DeChambeau posted a video answering a fan who had asked, “What’s your longest drive, Bryson?” He replied, “Well I’d tell you it’s 423 yards in the World Drive competition. But today, I don’t know let’s find out.” Well, having taken the challenge, sadly, the 31-year-old could only make it to 363 yards. That too after several attempts. Disappointed and frustrated at the same time, he said, “Looks like my long drive days are over. I am just a normal guy now.”

Do you think the 2x US Open’s winner’s drive garnered attention? No, not by any means. It was actually the stache. A few fans did pay attention to the shot as well, but the majority of them were just confused!

Rickie Fowler was the player that brought back the trends of moustaches in 2018. Known for his bold fashion choices, the modern golfer used his moustache as a symbol of personal expression. Well, there was no doubt that the golf community loved it. It was he who reawakened the trend in the 2020s into championship golf.
What’s your perspective on:
Is Bryson DeChambeau's moustache the real MVP, or is it holding back his long drives?

“I’ve kind of done it through Christmas the last few years, just to keep up the spirit, I guess,” he remarked in a 2022 interview with NBC Sports. “It’s kind of stayed through the new year; we’ll see how long it keeps going for.” One of them stating that his moustache look gives a De-Ja-vu of Rickie Fowler’s look commented, “You look like Ricky Fowler’s brother with that stash.”
To begin with, Bryson DeChambeau’s new moustache look was a suggestion. At the Houston event, he revealed that one of his fans told him he might look good if he had a stache. And that was when he decided to try it. He shoved down his big scruff to make it happen. Now it seems like the fans have cut it short only to make fun of it. As he appeared with the moustache again, a lot of it called the big scruff a caterpillar because of its artificial structure. They left hilarious comments like, “Hey Bryson… Are you aware that a Caterpillar from the late 1980’s has nestled above your top lip? I believe it’s an endangered species and you will have to leave it there until it forms a butterfly and flies away?” And “To much drag in the caterpillar atop the lip.”

DeChambeau could barely go above 350 yards to shoot out his longest drive range in the video. Only in one of the attempts he went all over 358 yards, and of course the last was his current record. For the 2024 US Open Champion, that is indeed poor. One of the fans joked about the dense moustache and the swing. They wrote, “The stash is holding you back @brysondechambeau 😂”. While one of them simply advised him, saying, “That mustache is a mistake :P”. The golfer did mention once in Houston that he’d take it off if he plays bad, so could now be that time?
