Max Homa has begun 2025 with just the right moves. Every new year brings up opportunities for the players to sign new deals, especially at the Sentry. At the PGA Tour season opener in Kapalua, it’s become a tradition for players to announce their recently signed deals. They showcase their new partnerships with equipment brands, apparel, footwear, and other sponsors whose logos appear on hats, sleeves, and bags starting January 1. This year, Max Homa made a big splash on Wednesday.
He revealed new deals with Cobra Puma Golf and Lululemon. Homa, who previously used Titleist equipment and wore FootJoy apparel, will now play with a Cobra driver, irons, and wedges. However, photos from Kapalua show him still using a Scotty Cameron putter, and he confirmed he will continue to play the Titleist Pro V1x ball. Well, his wife, Lacey Croom, for starters, was delighted with his new apparel partnership.
NUCLR Golf took to their official X account and reported, “Max Homa on the apparel move to Lululemon: “My wife loves it, which also helps…” ….“You can rarely get your wife excited about your golf partnerships, and this one nails it.” And now, the move has also caught the attention of Rickie Fowler.

Rickie Fowler has been associated with Puma Golf since 2009. Three years after signing his deal with Puma Golf, in 2012, he became a full Cobra Puma Golf athlete after signing deals with Cobra the same year. Now, Max Homa is in the same club. And he could not be more excited.
Cobra Golf took to their official Instagram account and shared a video announcing the deal with Homa, and wrote, “New year, new sticks and kicks. @cobragolf DS-ADAPT straight in the bag and @pumagolf on my feet. Welcome to the COBRA Team and PUMA Fam @max.homa!”
Fowler shared it on his story and wrote, “Welcome to the fam!! @max.homa”.

Well, it is not just new sponsors for the New Year. As it turns out, Max Homa has not been doing his best on the course, and this season, he will enter the course with lofty resolutions.

Notably, Max Homa has never been part of the winning team at the Ryder Cup. The lone bright spot for the Americans was him, who improved his career record in Ryder Cup and Presidents Cup matches to 7-1-1. He was the only American to play all five matches. His clutch up-and-down on the 18th hole against Matt Fitzpatrick in singles kept the Americans’ hopes alive for nearly another hour.
But it was not the year for the Americans. Team Europe officially managed to reclaim the Ryder Cup winning 16.5 to 11.5. He has a miniature Ryder Cup which every member gets, even if they have not won the game. That frustrates him all the more.
This is one of the reasons he will be starting the 2025 season having the thought of being on the winning team in 2025. “I hate it because it’s just a reminder of how we got thumped, but I also like to look at it a lot because it’s super-motivating. I’m lucky I’ve been on three teams we’ve won two of them (Presidents Cup 2022, 2024). I’ve never won a Ryder Cup,” he said in an interview with Sports Illustrated.

He is currently ranked twelfth on the American Team list of Ryder Cup with 1,229.883 points. Do you think he will make it to the team, and the American Team will finally be able to take revenge after what happened in Rome? Stay tuned to find out!
