2022 WM Phoenix Open is the next stop for the 2022 PGA Tour season. The event will take place at the beautiful and iconic TPC Scottsdale- Stadium Course. Notably, some of the biggest names in the sport of golf tee it up at the event. Let us take a look at the field for the event.

2022 WM Phoenix Open field

The 2022 PGA Tour season is off to a fast and amazing start and is already into its fourth event of the season; AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. The event is going to be the fifth event of the season and probably one of the most exciting ones. Defending champion of the event is none other than, Brooks Koepka.  Brooks won the event in 2021 with an overall score of 19 under par. Koepka will be on the field to defend his title and register his 3rd victory at the event.

The TPC Scottsdale- Stadium Course is famous for its notorious 16th hole. Rather, it’s the fans who make the hole notorious.

Moving on to the field for the event, some of the biggest names in the sport of golf are playing the event. The event features 18 of the top 30 golfers in the Official World Golf Rankings. The current World Number One Jon Rahm, number three golfer Patrick Cantlay, as well as world number 5 Victor Hovland are part of the field. The total number of players on the field is 132.

Five players in the field are playing through the sponsor’s exception. The names include Patrick Rodgers, Preston Summerhays, Jason Dufner, Austin Eckroat, and Sahith Theegala. Surely the event is going to be an enthralling contest.

2022 Waste Management prize money

The Phoenix Open begins on February 10th and the final round concludes on February 13. The total prize-money purse for the event is a whopping $8,200,000 million. The winner of the event will take home a share of the prize money worth $1,476,00 million. Let us wait and see who wins the beautiful trophy and the prize money.
