It doesn’t take much for a parent to drop everything when it comes to their kids. For former LPGA Tour player Jane Park, that moment came when her daughter, Grace, was just 10 months old and diagnosed with intractable epilepsy. The relentless seizures and hospital visits that followed led Park to put her professional golf career on hold, and eventually, she stepped away from the game to focus on her daughter’s health.

Park’s love and dedication to her daughter are truly inspiring. Despite the challenges they’ve faced, Park remains hopeful and grateful for the support of her fans. Recently, the former golfer shared some gut-wrenching updates about her daughter, Grace, who suffers from epilepsy. In a heart-wrenching Instagram story, Park revealed a poignant moment where she said, “G fell asleep grabbing onto my ear. I may have forced open her fist and placed it on my ear. I’m unsure what it’s like to have my kid reach out and grab my hand (or reach for anything) but something about her finding enough comfort to fall asleep like this warms my heart somehow.”

But the tranquility was short-lived, as just 15 minutes later, Park’s world was turned upside down when she said, “15 min later she woke up From a crazy a– seizure.” She ended her post with a heartbreaking statement, “Epilepsy doesn’t want us to have nice moments.” Park’s emotional post highlighted the harsh realities of living with epilepsy, where moments of peace are fleeting and fragile.
