John Daly is a multi-faceted person. From an incredible golfer to a musician, there is nothing that he can’t do.

Daly has released a couple of albums throughout his life. However, the 55-year-old has been putting off his passion for music in the last few years. But not anymore. His new album featuring Willie Nelson will be out this Friday and fans can’t keep calm.

The PGA Tour Champions couldn’t help their excitement either as Daly is releasing a new album, ‘Whiskey and Water.’ They announced the happy news through their official Instagram page.

According to the post, the famous country singer, Willie Nelson, is a feature in Daly’s new album. The 88-year-old had begun his career back in 1952 and had been inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1993. He was also honored with Kennedy Center Honors in 1998.

In a word, Nelson is a maestro in country music. And the maestro is a featuring artist in Daly’s new album. And if the release date doesn’t have you jumping off your seats, then Willie’s inclusion might just do the trick.

The music career of John Daly so far

Daly had released his first-ever album in 2002. The album titled “My Life” included songs like the lead song ‘I’m Drunk, Dead Broke,’ ‘You Don’t Know Me,’ and ‘Mr. Fan.’ The country-style songs depicted the raw life of the golfer himself. The lead song is about drinking and gambling, whereas Mr. Fan talks about Daly’s golf career.

Notably, it took him eight years to release another music album on his own. “I Only Know One Way” was released in 2010 and included eight songs. Daly either wrote or co-wrote the lyrics of the entire list of songs.

Now, his third album is being released on Friday. Not to mention, the golfer had been teasing his fans regarding this for a while now. In a Twitter post last year, Daly tweeted about his album, which is only being released now in 2022.
