Remember how Pat Perez was a staple of the LIV Golf setup since its inception in 2022? Well, it looks like his time with Dustin Johnson’s 4Aces has come to an end. Perez was one of the first to make the switch to LIV Golf three years ago, and he even helped the 4Aces clinch the league’s first-ever Team Championship in 2022. However, after a lackluster 2024 season, it seems like Johnson has decided to move on from Perez, instead opting to sign RangeGoats’s Thomas Pieters in December. With Pieters joining the 4Aces, the roster expanded to five, but only four can play, leaving Perez out in the cold. Johnson praised Pieters as a “great addition” who makes the team “stronger,” and it’s clear that Perez is no longer part of the team’s plans. Well, it seems like Perez has also taken on a whole new role altogether after getting ditched by Johnson.
