The 39-year-old American professional golfer’s strength has the golf world in awe. Almost two months ago, Woodland got the shock of his life when it was revealed to him that he had a brain tumor. However, Woodland stayed strong and beat the brain tumor. His strength and courage in dealing with this daunting life experience are truly praiseworthy.
Woodland is now preparing to make a full return to the world of golf in 2024. In fact, he has even planned to have a full schedule for the upcoming year. The pro golfer is now cleared to do all physical activities post-surgery. Woodland is determined to turn the impossible into the possible. Even though his energy levels are not at their peak currently, he is still eyeing a full-fledged return in January 2024.
Gary Woodland said, “I’ve set some goals along this process. I told my wife when I walked into that hospital, my goal was to walk out… My goal now to get back to playing is to start back in January which some doctors think that’s optimistic, but I’m very optimistic about myself, my team around me, and my recovery. So my plan is to get back in January and tee it up and play a full year.”
