Spiranac has come a long way since she left professional golf in 2016. However, she is not away from the sport. All her content is mostly golf related, and her YouTube golf tips are famous among young golfers. She did not become an internet queen overnight but worked hard for it. The former pro is well aware of all the negativities internet holds.
Earlier this year, Spiranac shared her experience with a fan at the championship. She runs a podcast named ‘Playing a Round’ where she shares her personal and professional experiences. In one of the July episodes, the golf beauty detailed her experience, shocking over 2.8K listeners.
Why was Paige Spiranac scared of her life?
The Internet space also has its drawbacks and many people have revealed about the bullies, trolls, and scams they went through. If one is not careful, they can lose big bucks too. And a victim of the same tragedy once threatened Spiranac at the American Century Championship. While she was gearing up for her next play, one of the fans asked for a picture together, and she agreed.
After taking the picture, the fan accused her of scamming online, and as a result, he lost $10,000. He then threatened her, and from there, things escalated. Spiranac lost all sense of security and was scared. She said, “It was a really really scary situation.” The sexiest woman in America continued, saying that the incident left a mark on her mind. She could not focus on her game, which affected her entire performance at the event.
The “unhinged” fan approached her while she was warming up for her final round. Thankfully, Spiranac’s team was right there and saved her. Her agent handled the situation later. According to reports, they warned the fan not to go near the former pro golfer, but he did not heed.

Did Spiranac scam the fan?
Spiranac boldly stands against anything that ruins society, and scamming is one of that. The golf beauty did not scam the fan; instead, it was a fake profile. That profile also had a fake number, and the same scammed the fan. According to Spiranac, “As it turns out, this man was scammed by a fake profile that someone created, and it had a fake number; he was unhinged.”
