Woods and Nike have been partners since 1996, when Tiger turned professional. Moreover, the first contract between the 82-time PGA Tour winner and Nike was $40 million for five years. Since then, the 46-year-old professional has never turned back and has continued wearing the swoosh. The two partners extended their contract for another five years in 2001 for a whopping $100 million. Then in 2006, Tiger signed an eight-year deal with the sports brand for $20-40 million.
Furthermore, the deal was extended in 2013, and Woods continues to wear Nike appeal, even when it stopped manufacturing golf equipment in 2016. It is probably one of the most incredible partnerships in golf ever.
Moreover, the sporting giant has recently come out with a fine collection of TW polo. Woods fans all over the globe are going to love the new Nike polo.
The TWLEGION on April 20th tweeted a picture of Nike’s new Tiger Woods polo. The tweet said, “A new Tiger shirt has arrived on Nike. What’re your thoughts on the design pattern?” Moreover, the golf polo comes in a dark navy blue color, with what seems to be a flower pattern all over the polo.

However, this is not the only time in 2022 Nike has released Woods’ merchandise. Before the 2022 Masters, Tiger was making his comeback and released a traditional Sunday red polo and a dark pink polo. Both the shirts had TW written on the backside beneath the collar and 25. The 25 was written to mark the 25th anniversary of Tiger’s first win at Augusta National in 1997.
The golf world has mixed reactions to Tiger Woods’ new apparel
As soon as the news about the release of his new golf polo broke out, golf Twitter turned into a frenzy. Golf and Tiger fans from all parts of the globe started to react to the delightful news. Some fans were not happy with Nike’s new design and conveyed the same through their reactions. At the same time, other fans were just excited to see new merchandise dropping in and like it.

Nike has some of the worst sports clothing models in the biz. Go to the website you can't even tell what the shirts will look like because they're on the complete opposite of what a normal person's body is like.

Specifically, the floral design doesn’t seem very ‘Tiger’. The camo but not this. Nike’s recent designs overall are boxy and not particularly athletic

I’ll never understand why @nike stopped putting their logo on the chest.
