LPGA Tour is no doubt the premier institution in the field of women’s golf. The tour’s story began in 1950 when 13 brave and bold women launched the LPGA with the dream of providing a platform for women to play professional golf.

Ever since it has had top players play in its events and is at the pinnacle of women’s golf worldwide. Therefore, it is safe to say that players involved in the said Tour’s events throughout history would have made a fortune, both literally and metaphorically.
The career money earned by the top ten players throughout LPGA Tour’s history runs in tens of millions. The highest-earning golfer of all time is the famous Swedish professional golfer, Annika Sorenstam, having a career earning of $22,583,693. Sorenstam is followed by Karrie Webb with career money worth $20,293,617, and Cristie Kerr with $20,166,399, for the second and third-highest-earning members, respectively.
The aforementioned players are followed by the following names in order of their ranking respectively: Inbee Park, Lorena Ochoa, Suzann Pettersen, Lydia Ko, Stacy Lewis, Juli Inkster, and Lexi Thompson.
As expected, Lexi Thompson is one of the ten highest-earning players in women’s golf. Lexi has a sum of a career worth $13,394,372. She is the tenth richest golfer in LPGA Tour History.

Thompson has a long history of success. The pro golfer was the youngest golfer ever to play in the U.S. Women’s Open. She was just 12 when she achieved the aforementioned title.
Recently, the pro golfer broke a major career dry spell where she failed to win for almost 3 years. Thompson won the LET’s Aramco Team Series event on Saturday at Trump Golf Links at Ferry Point in The Bronx with a three-under-par 69. The World No. 8 won by three shots over Brooke Henderson (68) and Madelene Sagstrom (69) after taking a two-stroke lead with a 65 on Friday.
Lexi said, “I’ve been working extremely hard on my game. I felt like it was a matter of time, but I just wanted to play golf and put myself in contention in the final rounds and learn from the losses that I had and what I needed to work on, and I brought that into today.”

She continued, “I wanted to play fearless golf, not play away from pins by any means, and commit to my shots. I hit some really good ones and I hit some iffy ones but with this wind, you have to take the bad ones as best you can.”
