Bryson DeChambeau is one of the most talked about players in the LIV Golf league. The golfer has been in the news ever since he sabotaged his PGA Tour career for the new league. DeChambeau recently opened up about a current setback he is facing with his decision to join LIV Golf. The golfer talked about the situation, saying that he is still part of the LIV Golf lawsuit after many other players have backed out from it. And the reason behind it is that the PGA Tour has refused to pay the golfer his PIP money from the last season.

DeChambeau said that the tour was not allowing him to do a “First Tee Appearance”. And hence the golfer would not be able to fulfill his PIP duties. “One of the reasons why I’m in the loss is because they haven’t paid me the second half of the PIP money,” Johnson said. “The money isn’t the significant part, it’s more the principle. And it’s really been frustrating to tell over the last six years”.

According to DeChambeau, it has been very frustrating for him to ask the PGA Tour to pay him the second half of his well-deserved PIP money. But ever since LIV Golf started luring out players from the PGA Tour, the former tour has been adding hindrances for the players who left.

And this might be one of the reasons why DeChambeau is not being allowed to fulfill his PIP duties.
