Nelly Korda is on a roll! For the past four games she has played on the LPGA Tour, she has taken home the top prize. Although she took a month off this year to connect with family, her time off was well spent as she has dominated the season unlike any other. Fellow player Lydia Ko says she “shouldn’t have played” against the current world no. 1; they were all just playing for “second place.”

Now, we see the 25-year-old getting ready for the second round of the Chevron Championship going on this weekend. Winning this event will tie her for the record for most consecutive LPGA wins with Nancy Lopez. Yes! Nelly Korda is all set to win her fifth straight event and make golf history! This has everyone, from her family to the fans and even the LPGA, excited about her performance in the first major of the year.

The LPGA Tour posted a video of Korda on Instagram, captioned “Early mornings with a World No. 1.” In the post, we see Nelly Korda, along with her team and accompanied by LPGA staff, taking a few practice shots on the greens of The Club at Carlton Woods. It was early in the morning, right before the game teed off for round 2, and we could also see the other players’ teams all around the misty greens.
