We’re down to the wire at the 2024 Pure Insurance Championship! With 36 holes complete, the legends of golf are gearing up for the final push. The stakes are sky-high, and for the talented individuals, the $2.3 million prize money purse is within reach. The prize money is the same as in previous years, from which the defending champion Thongchai Jaidee took his share.
As the final round unfolds, the intensity increases. A field of 79 seasoned veterans, each with a wealth of experience, will battle it out for the top prize. Originally 80 strong, the field saw the withdrawal of 60-year-old American Billy Andrade after the first round. This talented group includes golfing greats Bernhard Langer, Vijay Singh, and Fred Couples.
The victor will claim a standard 15% coming out to be $345,000, with $202,400, which is equivalent to 8.8% going to the runner-up. Additionally, all participants are guaranteed a minimum payout, with the least being $989, a testament to the tournament’s commitment to rewarding excellence.
