Why was Williams mad at Tiger Woods?
It was during Masters at Augusta in 2003 when Williams proved how vital his advice for the pro-Tiger Woods was. He did not just get under his skin but got with the golfer to improve his skills. We know that the PGA golfer had anger issues earlier in his career. His shots have got affected many times because he loses his cool after hitting a bad hole. However, as a responsible caddie, Williams brought him back to track when he lost his flow during the Masters, as described on page 123 of his book.

Williams said, “Pull your head out of your a**e and start behaving like an adult. If you’re going to carry on like this, it’s a waste of time.” He then explained to Woods that whatever he told him on the third hole was in his best interests. According to him, the driver was the best player. The hall of fame golfer might not have realized it at first. However, after the round was over and he looked back, he knew it was the right play. In contrast, the five times the green jacket winner hit a bad shot, and through his frustration, he made six when he could easily have made four from that position.

The caddie added that the golfer could blame the shot; however, it was ultimately his shot only. “Sure, you can blame the poor shot on me, but ultimately, you made six from a position you should have made four from,” said Williams. He knew which was the correct position for Woods to take the shot.
