In an interview with Dan Patrick, the 2-time major winner revealed that he has the legend’s contact number, and he likes to text him now and then. But, doesn’t always receive his text, implying that the legend has blocked Watson. “He’s probably blocked me before,” he said. “He changes his number quite a bit.”
Despite that, he always gets a hold of the 15 time major winner’s new number. And Watson has credited the Ryder cup and the Presidential cup for that. These events require the players to connect with each other over group chats. “You get every player’s number so y’all can have a group text going,” he added
So, even after getting blocked, the 44-year-old gets access to Woods’ number. “And so even if he blocks me, I get it that week and then I’ll have it for a little bit.”
He also revealed he likes to send the legend random text messages and could be the reason why he blocks Watson so often.

Bubba Watson is obsessed with Woods
The former world No. 2 used to spam text the 47-year-old every chance he got. He took full advantage of the fact that Woods couldn’t block during the event. So Watson texted him about random stuff like a water bottle.
In 2016, he had an embarrassing incident when he excitedly blurted out that he has the GOAT’s number now. Watson promised Woods that he would text him all the time. And all the golf great could do was smile in response.
