In a post uploaded by @annika_fdn on Instagram, German golfer Aline Krauter is seen talking about adding another Annika event to her list.

Prior to her play on Thursday, Krauter talked about her experience and ambitions ahead of playing at Pelican. The golfer praised Annika Sorenstam and said that for players, it is an honor to play at Annika’s event. The young player also added that having Annika give back to the women’s golf game means a lot to the LPGA girls.

“I played in a couple of her events. I played as a junior…just what she’s done for the game of golf is amazing, and I am proud to be in the field this year,” the player remarked, talking about the impact Annika has had on the realm of golf as a whole.

The players will be competing for a total purse of $3.25 million and top ranks in the Race to the CME Globe.
