Rain has been an age-old antagonist in the history of golf tournaments. Well, looks like it might once again spell doom for this weekend. The 2024 Presidents Cup will kick-start in just a few hours at the Royal Montreal Golf Club. The cup commences on September 26 and runs till September 29 with Team USA led by Jim Furyk and the International team operating under the command of Mike Weir.
The Thursday round will be the four-ball match, set to begin at 11:35 am ET by Xander Schauffele/Tony Finau (U.S.) vs. Jason Day/Byeong Hun An (International). Now the question is, will Mother Nature play spoilsport for the pairs?

The Max UV Index too will be dripping rather low to 2.

Well, that is not even the primary cause of concern. There is a 90% chance of precipitation and a 20% probability of thunderstorms. The density will be 13.1 mm and it could go on as long as 4 hours. So if you have plans to be at the Royal Montreal Golf Club, make sure you take your umbrellas with you. Additionally, it will also be a windy day, so be prepared for that as well.
The wind will be blowing in from the SSW at a speed of 11 kmph. Wind gusts are expected to be blowing in at a speed of 37 kmph. To add to the misery, the cloud cover for Thursday is predicted to be 87%, which might make visibility a massive problem for the players.
