All the times that Tiger Woods was No.1 player in the world

Woods has spent the most consecutive weeks (281) and most total weeks (683) at the top of the rankings. He is also among the three golfers who spent an entire year leading the ranking from 2000-2003 and then from 2006-2009. As one of the fans said, “That shows you how great he was.”

So far Scheffler has only one major win. Last year his first big win came at the Masters Tournament.  Scheffler went back to the no 1 rank this year and has been there three times. The first time he became No. 1 was after last year’s World Golf Championships-Dell Technologies Match Play. He was on top until October.

After this year’s WM Phoenix Open, he ranked as 1 again. But after Jon Rahm took it from him at The Genesis Invitational, he snatched it back after the Players Championship. However, the 2019-20 PGA Tour Rookie of the Year has to cover a long distance, and he has to do a lot more to be even comparable.
