The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club Orlando, Grande Lakes, will host the event formerly known as the father/son challenge from December 16-19. The field will comprise 20 teams, fulfilling the criteria of having one member with a major title or the Players Championship title, along with a family member who is not a touring professional.
This year’s star-studded field has a massive 67 major titles amongst them and it includes champions like Justin Thomas, Nelly Korda, Jim Furyk, Nick Faldo, John Daly, and Vijay Singh. The field will fight it out over two days for the Willie Park Trophy and a total purse of a little more than $1 million.

Tiger Woods makes a comeback to competitive golf
After his single car crash earlier this year, Woods has been on the sidelines recovering. Moreover, just a couple of days ago, Woods shut down any possibilities of him returning to tour soon. He said, “I have so far to go… I’m not even at the halfway point.”
The PNC Championship, however, is not a regular tournament and allows players the use of a cart. Moreover, it’s much shorter than the typical four-day event. Hence, Woods has decided to tee it up with his son Charlie, 12, who is an aspiring golfer. In the 2020 version of the event, the two finished 7th, where Justin Thomas and his father Mike Thomas emerged winners.
Although it’s been a long and challenging year, I am very excited to close it out by competing in the @PNCchampionship with my son Charlie. I’m playing as a Dad and couldn’t be more excited and proud.

Tiger, go for it. My hero always will be Seve. But I have to admit that you are the Greatest golfer I've seen. I can't imagine anyone putting four better rounds together than your four at Hiylake. If they were a painting they be a masterpiece
