In the last few months, several PGA Tour stars have left the Tour to join the LIV Golf. As a response, the PGA Tour has suspended all the defectors from participating in the tournaments conducted by the PGA Tour. The LIV Golf golfers have decided to sue the PGA Tour. Joel Dahmen, a PGA Tour pro, shared his thoughts on Twitter regarding the issue.
Eleven golfers from the Saudi-backed LIV Golf circuit, including Phil Mickelson and Bryson DeChambeau, filed an antitrust lawsuit against the PGA Tour on Wednesday to overturn their suspensions. This was the first shot in a legal battle that could have an impact on all professional sports.

According to a report, Talor Gooch, Hudson Swafford, and Matt Jones are three of the defendants in the case who are hoping to get a temporary restraining order so they may participate in the FedEx Cup Playoffs the next week. However, Dahmen seemed unhappy with the LIV golfers and shared his dismay on Twitter.
Joel Dahmen disappointed with the LIV Golf rebels
Dahmen wasted no time in shedding light on the lawsuit. The Tour pro, who won the 2021 Corales Puntacana Resort and Club Championship on the PGA Tour last season, went on a rant about the LIV Golf players.
I don’t have an issue with anyone going to LIV. I have an issue with them wanting to comeback and play. If the grass is so green, why do you want to come back?
— Joel Dahmen (@Joel_Dahmen) August 3, 2022
Joel Dahmen first tweeted about how the LIV Golf golfers think they can get all they wish for. He tweeted, “It sounds like some people want their cake and to eat it to. Please stay away in your fantasy land. Sincerely, most tour players.”

The 34-year-old then wrote about how he is not furious with the golfers for leaving the 92-year-old Tour for the new tour. Instead, it’s the hypocrisy of wishing to play in the PGA Tour again. Dahmen tweeted, “I don’t have an issue with anyone going to LIV. I have an issue with them wanting to comeback and play. If the grass is so green, why do you want to come back?”
Being loyal to PGA Tour while everyone making their jump to LIV Golf is surely hard. However, Joel Dahmen’s loyalty to the PGA Tour made him express his anger over the players who ‘allegedly’ left it for the money.
PGA Tour commissioner, Jay Monahan, defended the sanctions in a statement to players on Wednesday. The players should have faith in the Tour’s legal viability since the LIV Tour has been preparing for this attempt to “disrupt” the PGA Tour.
